Integrated telecoms service provider, Orange, has announced an 8 per cent revenue growth in overall business for the first half of this year, compared to the same period last year. Chief Executive Officer Mickael Ghossein said the business has made major investments since the beginning of the year, enabling it to better compete in the market as well as offer quality service leading to better retention."We have experienced a 40 per cent jump in mobile network activity as well as incremental growth across all business segments, demonstrating the strategy put in place at the beginning of the year is effective," said Ghossein. He explained that the aggressive 'Did you Know' campaign on the company's Tujuane mobile tariff increased the number of subscribers by 15.6pc, at the end of March 2014, compared to the same period last year.
