Twitter user fined £110 for naming alleged child victim Michael Le Vell was cleared of raping

A woman who tweeted the identity of the alleged victim at the end of the Corrie star Michael Le Vell's child rape trial was fined £110 yesterday.

After the Coronation Street actor was cleared of all charges Deborah Armstrong, 37, wrote on her Twitter account: “I hope Michael Le Vell’s victim... now goes public” and identified the female involved.
