The sexy vase

By Carolyn Makana

Take an hourglass and stretch her bit and you get a lovely vase. Though you may feel that your boobs are disproportionately large and your tummy seems to contain an amoeba with the ability to change shape every few seconds, whatever size you are, you still have the proportions of a sexy woman!

Sexy can be translated into style. You may be told that you have a great body but it is not one that can easily be trendy.

Styles for you are specific. Sharp, tight and tailored… keep that in mind.

A vase is supposed to be shapely and elegant so stick to shapely elegant clothes.

Never wear:

• Ruffles around your neckline.

• Dresses or skirts with tiered frills.

• Sleeveless round-neck tops.

• Polo–neck jumpers as they make your boobs balloon.

• Princess collars.

• Wedge shoes will make your feet seem bigger.

Best for vase shapes

Jackets: A single-button jacket, one that fastens between and just under the boobs and your waist, not lower.

Dresses: Wide-scooped necklines to balance your chest with the rest of your body. Never wear any ribbing on your boobs. Let any ribbing emphasis be on the narrow part under your bust. Also, wear fabrics with a little shimmer.

Shirts: Pencil skirts will lift and hug your bottom and nip into your waist. The skirt should end just below the narrowest part of your knee.

Tops: Your best assets are up top so spend your efforts on great tops that will last, especially those with a low square neckline. Go for three-quarter sleeves to show off your slim forearms.

Trousers: Go for trousers with slanted pockets and big belt hoops. The big belt you slip through the loops will support your tummy.

Jeans: Straight leg jeans look great on your slim pin legs.

Earrings: Keep it round. Avoid angular jewellery as they don’t suit you.

Shoes: You are a curvy girl and need a curvy shoe. Stay away from wedges as your slim ankles could easily be overwhelmed!
