Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) Premier League champions Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) will on Saturday face off against hosts Rwanda Energy Group (REG) in the FIBA Africa Zone Five qualifiers finals.

KPA reached the finals after a 74-53 win over JKL Lady Dolphins of Uganda.

Captain Natalie Akinyi led with 22 points, Victoria Reynolds bagged 15 and Selina Okumu managed 13 for the Kenyans.

Maruy Amaniyo was the only one who recorded double digits as she sunk her Lady Dolphins’ 15 points.

The dockers are unbeaten so far in Kigali. The defeated Rwanda Energy Group (Rwanda), JKT Stars (Tanzania), Nile Legends (South Sudan), and JKL Dolphins in Group B.

KPA knocked out Vijana Queens from Tanzania to reach the semis.

The Anthony Ojukwu led side will now renew their rivalry with REG from Rwanda whom they whipped 72-42 when the two sides met in the group stages.

REG qualified to the finals after knocking out Equity Hawks 76-61.
