Kakamega hosts music festival from Monday

Kenya Music Festival officials brief festival clerks in preparation for the annual Kenya Music Festival at the Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology yesterday. (George Orido)

Lights! Curtains! Action! ... and the Kenya Music festival ,  with over 150,000 students expected to perform under the theme of Enhancing National Unity, Cohesion and Integration, starts Monday.

The annual fete will be held at the Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology for the second time since 2010, the first time the university hosted the colorful vent. It is expected to run for the next two weeks.
