The taxman has launched a new system targeting informal businesses, and aimed at expanding tax revenue.
The move comes months after the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) disclosed its helplessness in collecting taxes from the informal economy, which comprises small traders, small shops, and other businesses that have for long evaded the taxman's net.
