KQ announces flight disruptions, operations to resume Thursday

KQ's net loss increased from Sh15.8b with the company attributing it to fluctuations in the foreign exchange market and debts. [File, Standard]

The Kenya Airways (KQ) says it expects normal operations to be restored by Thursday, July 6, following a series of flight disruptions.

In a statement posted on its officer Twitter handle on Monday evening, KQ stated that the flight schedule changes are as a result of bad weather that has caused the turn-backs and diversions, adding that three of its aircrafts are undergoing technical maintenance.
