Kenya Chui narrowly overcome Kenya Tusker Malt 6-5 in the first match of the Kenya International 10-Goal match at Nairobi Polo Club yesterday.

Quick partnerships between Raphael Nzomo and his son Jadini Nzomo made it easier for the Kenya's top player Casimir Gross to score all the five goals for Kenya Tusker Malt spread in all chukkas.

However, that was not enough to defeat Kenya Chui who won the match by a difference of a goal, thanks to Craig Millar who scored a hattrick, Tarquin Gross a double and Harry Stichbury a goal for the winners.

Kenya Duma was due to Brazil last evening.

These were first hand matches of the international championships that comes after South Africa and United States of America failed to beat the Kenyan teams.

Radio Africa and 24:7 won their opening matches in the Fat Hippo Tournament, the second tier competition of the Kenya International-10-Goal Championships.

Prior to the tournament, there were curtain raiser matches in the second tier event in two and four chukka matches.

Radio Africa dismissed Tusker Malt 2-1 as Team 24:7 hammered Live Eye 8-3.

With assists from upcoming handicap -2 Bobby Kamani, Team 24:7 scored through John Muroka's four goals and a hattrick from Eva Kamau.
