Governor Gladys Wanga inherits county that has grounded most of its vehicles

He added, "The vehicles are available but the problem is that they are damaged. The problem causes inability of our officers to discharge their duties because they cannot move."

Among the 10 county executive committee members, only three have been using their official vehicles. They are Nicholas Koriko (Finance), Aguko Juma (Trade) and Education's Akoko Nyaoke.

Agriculture Chief Office Samuel Owigo said only one out of eight tractors bought by the county government for farmers to help them till their land is operational.

"We have hope that the vehicles will be repaired," said acting Transport Officer Isaiah Alaka.
