Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i has dismissed claims by Deputy President William Ruto that some government officials planned to fuel chaos in some parts of the Rift Valley.

Speaking after a security meeting at the Mary Mount Secondary in Molo, Nakuru, on August 2, the CS scoffed at Dr Ruto's claims that he and Interior Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho were meeting chiefs with a plan to use them to bungle the elections.
