Timothy Cheruiyot and Abel Kipsang finish 6th and 7th respectively as Britain's Jake wins men's 1500m race

Kenya on Wednesday morning failed to win a medal in the men's 1500m finals after Timothy Cheruiyot and Abel Kipsang finished sixth and seventh respectively at the World Championships in Oregon.

Cheruiyot clocked a seasonal best time of 3:30.69 followed by Abel Kipsang who completed the race in 3:31.21.
