Kenyans celebrate Ms President for new CAS appointment

Kenyans took to social media to congratulate Nadia Ahmed Abdalla (pictured) after being appointed as the new ICT Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) in charge of Innovation and Youth in the new Cabinet reshuffle.

Nadia was part of a group of women who took the country by storm in the reality TV series dubbed Ms President on KTN News.

After her appointment Kenyans took to Twitter and Facebook  to send a litany of congratulatory messages to her, showing how the energetic woman has followers.

Mombasa Governor Mombasa Governor led other Kenyans in congratulating her on her new job with a majority saying she was not only qualified but also deserving.

"Congratulations Nadia Ahmed Abdalla on your appointment as CAS for ICT, Innovation and Youth. As a county, we are proud of you. It is our hope that you will use the same intellect, zeal, and wisdom that you served the people of Mombasa," the governor tweeted on Tuesday.

The European Union Delegation to Kenya also congratulated Ms President for the new post.

“Congratulations MsPresident representing Mombasa for your appointment as Chief Administrative Officer in the Ministry of ICT,” tweeted EU delegation to Kenya.

"Congratulations Nadia on your appointment as CAS for ICT! We’re so proud of you." the Canadian High Commission to Kenya posted on Twitter

Nadia who is an author served as communication and PR strategist at Fierce Lady official - a communication network that comprises of public relations and networking consultancy.

Nadia holds a masters in arts in international relations and cultural diplomacy from Hochschule Furtwangen University, Germany.
