Karoney wants counties to waive land rates for the tilting program to succeed

Land Cabinet Secretary Faridah Karoney has asked county governments to waive land rates to make the ongoing land titling programme a success.

Speaking in Nakuru County, where she supervised the ongoing land titling clinic yesterday, the CS said the State had waived fees charged for processing the title deeds, noting that the land rate charged by county governments was posing a challenge to the success of the programme.
