Detectives nab two suspect over Buruburu woman killing, find her lost phones

Two suspects linked with the killing of a 20-year-old woman in Buruburu, Nairobi have been arrested.

Simon Gitau and Domnic Okoth were picked by DCI officers after being found in possession of two phones belonging to the deceased.

According to a statement by DCI, the woman was attacked in Nairobi's Buruburu Estate before being stabbed on the neck and her phones stolen.

Further analysis is set to be conducted on the phones and other items found at the scene as investigations continue into the killing continues.

“Investigations into the killing including carrying out a Forensic Analysis on the phones and other items found at the scene of crime to establish the truth are underway,” said the DCI.

The two suspects will be arraigned in court on Monday.
