Governor Sonko directs all noisy bar closed till end of KCPE,KCSE

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has issued a directive that all noisy Night Clubs, Bar and Social Joints within Estates be closed indefinitely to allow KCPE and KCSE candidates prepare well for their examinations.

 In a press release dated October 31, 2018, Governor Sonko directed the National Environment Management Authority, the Nairobi County Liquor Board and security agencies to ensure that noise in estates is minimized.

“H.E the Governor has wished all candidates success in their exams,” read the statement signed by Elkana Jacob Director Governor Press Service.

KCSE exams began on October 30, 2018 with practicals and will end on November 29, 2018 with theory papers.

On Thursday, the KCPE candidates will end their three-day exams with the Social Studies and Religious Education papers.
