Zari’s unexpected birthday message to Diamond

Ugandan Business woman Zari Hassan decided to return the favour to her ex, Tanzanian singer Diamond by wishing him a rather savage birthday message.

Zari took to her Instagram page on Tuesday 2 October and posted a picture of her kids with Diamond and captioned it “Happy birthday mwenye vikima vyake”, which loosely translates to ‘Happy birthday owner of his monkeys’.

Her birthday message is contrary to the one Diamond sent her where the singer referred to Zari as the ‘mother of my beloved kids’ and thanked her for being good to the kids citing that it meant a lot to him.

“A very special Birthday to the Mother of my Beloved kids...Thank you for blessing me with 2 amazing & cute Kids and thank you for continue being a good Mother to my Kids....Trust me, no matter how crazy & a proud man you think I might be, but am always grateful and I do respect you for that,” Diamond posted.

However, Zari’s ‘rude’ birthday message comes after Diamond once referred to her as ‘kima mwenye nyege’ meaning a sexually thirsty monkey.

Some Instagram users commented asking Zari not to drag the kids in between her estranged relationship with Diamond.

In a post on Instagram on Valentine’s Day this year, the mother of five made it clear that she was leaving Diamond due to his constant cheating.

“Understand that this is very difficult for me to do. There have been multiple rumors some with evidence floating around in ALL SORTS of media in regards to Diamond’s constant cheating and sadly I have decided to end my relationship with Diamond, as my RESPECT, INTEGRITY, DIGNITY & WELL BEING cannot be compromised. We are separating as partners but not as parents,” read part of the post.
