County to sack 960 workers to lower wage bill

At least 960 employees will be sacked as the county government works to contain its ballooning wage bill.

Speaking after receiving a report titled 'Implementation Status' from Head of Public Service Management Janet Manyasi on Friday, Governor Sospeter Ojaamong  said a third of the workers would be sent home.
