Meru to host World Elephants Day as 674 are counted in county

Human-wildlife conflict and poaching will feature as major concerns during World Elephants Day celebrations to be held in the county tomorrow.

Elephants Day is usually marked globally on August 12 but organisers have brought it forward and it will be marked locally at the Agricultural Society of Kenya showgrounds in Gitoro, Imenti North.
