Former Uganda Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi turned down dowry from South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa's family in exchange for his niece Ms Bridget Birungi Rwakairu.

The former presidential aspirant termed the practice of parents demanding dowry for their daughters from their in laws as dehumanizing women.
