Former senator Boni Khalwale has warned politicians from western Kenya against warming up to Deputy President William Ruto.
Speaking at the burial of Godfrey Wanyangu at Lunza in Butere constituency on Saturday, Khalwale told legislators hosted by Ruto at his Karen home recently to 'tread carefully'.
“We acknowledge the fact that you met Ruto to discuss development matters. However, you must be careful, we don’t want you to be used and dumped again,” he said.
But Matungu MP Justus Murunga and host Tindi Mwale insisted that there was nothing wrong with meeting Ruto.
