Second accident in a day claims over 30 lives at Sachagwan (Photos)

Over 30 people have been killed and scores injured in yet another grisly road accident involving Modern Coast bus and  13 other vehicles at Sachagwan along Nakuru-Eldoret Highway.

The accident happened after a truck driver who was being chased by NTSA lost control of the vehicle and hit oncoming vehicles, Modern Coast Bus, four Nissan matatus, a truck and several other private vehicles resulting to the deaths.

Tyhe Director of National Transport and Safety Authority  (NTSA) Njeri Waithaka said they would release a report this week highlighting  black spots  on Kenyans roads among the Sachangwan, Salgaa, Mlima Kiu along Mombasa Road and Bonje area.

The ill-fated Modern Coast bus at Sachagwan killer stretch on the Nakuru-Eldoret Road. Over 30 died on Tuesday in the 13-vehicle smash-up.

The Northern Corridor that runs from Mombasa to Malaba is infamous as the home to black spots.
