Football Kenya Federation Women Premier League Zone B side Vihiga Queens have secured a three year kit sponsorship deal with a sports agency Just Be Master (JBM).

The sponsorship is a boost to the Vihiga county-sponsored team that is eyeing their first Premier league title in their second season in the top flight.

Vihiga County government remains the team's main sponsor while JBM comes in as a co-sponsor mainly for the kit.

The unveiling was done on Sunday 5, November afternoon at Mumias Complex before Queens locked horns with Eldoret based Falcon FC. Queens won the match 3-0.

Speaking during the unveiling, Vihiga County Deputy governor Dr Patrick Saisi welcomed the gesture saying it will help the club in terms of league preparation.

Speaking to Ladiesmarch, JBM CEO Bryan Oduor said they were delighted to partner with Queens as their kit sponsors adding that they were motivated by team's performance in the league.

"Queens are the second team to get sponsorship from JBM. We are also sponsoring zone A side Kayole Starlets", said Oduor.

He added that they have been keenly following Queen's performance in the league and were impressed leading to the sponsorship.

"They are real queens in football that is why we are proud to be associated with them", he added.

Oduor noted that this is part of their elaborate plans to boost girls and women so as to change their living standards.

"Girls and women are drivers of the Global Goals and powerful agents of change thus the support. This is part of our “Leave no woman behind goal", said Odour.

Team coach Alex Alumira thanked JBM for their gesture adding that the sponsorship will boost their bid for the title.

"This is a good gesture and it’s a morale booster for the team as we are seeking our maiden title. We are focusing to win our remaining matches to finish top of the zone to get a slot in the play-offs by the end of the season," said Alumira.

Saisi noted that the county government is committed to the team.
