Arsenal preparing to sell Theo Walcott in January as Arsene Wenger looks to offload high-earning flops

Theo Walcott has become a bit-part player for the Gunners in recent years, and is not part of any first-team plans.

Wenger is willing to sell the 28-year-old during the next transfer window, as he looks to raise funds for a replacement.

West Ham and Everton are interested in the English winger.

He has 18-months left on his £110,000-a-week contract, and is one of the club's highest earners, according to TeamTalk.

Walcott is understood to be considering his future, with the World Cup in Russia coming up next year.

He would rather leave now, and secure a spot with England, then sit on the Emirates bench for the remainder of the season.
