1. Both of you come home early. When you come home late, you will be too tired to have a memorable time.
2. Leave your job title outside of your home; whether you are a big shot in your profession or in a job you don't enjoy, leave your position at the workplace. At home, you are husband and wife.
3. Start light. When both of you meet at home, don't greet each other with hard and heavy news. Start with a smile, a kiss, asking each other how the day has been.
4. Take an evening shower, it will freshen you up. Don't give your spouse a tired you yet you gave your employer/business the best of you.
5. Prepare the meal/set the table together; do a homely activity together. The goal is teamwork.
6. Eat together. Laugh.
7. Play some nice music to set the mood.
8. Put away the distractions: TV, laptop and the phone.
9. Set some limited time to do extras: Watch the news, prepare for tomorrow, check the kid's homework.
10. Pray as a family. Take the kids away early or if the kids are too grown, let them be as you both go to the bedroom.
11. Talk in depth in the bedroom.
12. Shower each other with compliments. Compliment more than you complain.
13. Cuddle/make out.
14. Make each other feel special. Massage.
15. Make love.
16. Speak love with words.
17. Say a prayer.
18. Sleep holding each other.
19. Wake up with a smile.
