Paul Ongili Owino aka Babu Owino is the former chairman of Students Organization of Nairobi University and the current Member of Parliament for Embakasi East. Babu Owino, who is not new to controversy, was involved in another stir on Sunday 24 September when he was recorded for allegedly insulting President Uhuru Kenyatta ahead of the repeat presidential election slated for October 26.
The video that went viral on social media elicited mixed reactions as netizens attacked and supported him in equal measure.
