“The focus for us is going back to the citizens to request that they vote for us again, based on our record and campaign manifesto,” President Uhuru said ahead of the meeting.

“We are meeting leaders to discuss our approach, and then everyone goes back to every town and every village, where our voters really are,” the President added.

The President arrived in Nyeri County on Thursday and presided over the opening of Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) Central Kenya Regional Show.

At the show the President urged county governments to settle down quickly and embark on fulfilling their mandates to serve Kenyans.
