Kenya leads push for new World Trade Organisation members

Kenya is leading the push for more countries in the region to join the World Trade Organisation (WTO).

Comoros, Ethiopia, Somalia and Sudan are all seeking to start the process of joining the multi-lateral trade rules-making organisation.

According to Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed, South Sudan will also attend a meeting scheduled for Nairobi to push for the cause.
