IEBC carries out live test on election results transmission system

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission will today conduct a live test of the election results transmission system countrywide.

The simulation will be held at the national tallying center at Bomas of Kenya as well as in 47 other county tallying centers starting 3pm.

The system will be used to transmit election results on August 8.

In Nairobi, the test will be done at the county tallying center at Kasarani Sports Stadium. In Mombasa the county tallying center is at Bandari College, Kwale County - Kenya School of Government Matuga, Kilifi - Pwani University, Tana River - Mau Mau Memorial High School, Lamu - Lamu Fort Hall, Taita Taveta - Taita Academy, Garissa - Kenya National Library, Wajir - Red Cross Hall, Mandera - Mandera AridLands, Marsabit - St Stephens Training Centre, Isiolo - Catholic Mission Hall, Meru - Meru School, Tharaka nithi - Chiakariga High School, Embu - Kangaru High School, Kitui - Multipurpose Hall Kitui,

The tallying centre for Machakos County is at Machakos Teachers Training College, Makueni - Wote Technical Training Institute, Nyandarua - ACK Church Hall Olkalau Town, Nyeri - Nyeri Primary School, Kirinyaga - St Michaels Girls Boarding. Murang'a County is at Murang'a University College, Kiambu - Kiambu Institute of Science and Technology, Turkana - Lodwar Youth Polytechnic, West Pokot - Mtelo Hall Kapenguria, Samburu - Allamano Hall Pastoral Centre Maralal, Trans Nzoia - Kitale Museum, Uasin Gishu - Eldoret Polytechnic, Elgeyo Marakwet - IEBC Constituency Office Kitale, Nandi - Kapsabet Boys High School, Baringo - Kenya School of Government Kabarnet, Laikipia - Nanyuki High School, Nakuru - Nakuru High School.
