“What else do you expect from us? Go Home” H_art the band complain after mistreatment

News
 H_art the band

All said and done, it seems that the Wizkid show, organized by barbeque festival left a bitter taste in many artistes’ mouth, most who complained that the organizers were poor with communication and had a care-less attitude towards them.

“The drama doesn't stop hapo we decide,' it's been a good show ,let's put everything aside and have some Fun but just as we exit the backstage a security officer confronts a practicing dancer and warns her that, if he finds her dancing again hapo backstage ,he was going to throw her out. At the V.i.P entry some guy comes _& says that we are not be allowed entry into the event. Apparently, we needed tags so, @kenchezmuya goes to pick our tags from our reference guy _& guess what he tells him ati ," what tags?!? You have already performed, what else do you expect from us? Go Home.” H_art the band ranted

Fans have also come out to complain that their VIP promises were not honored even after paying Kshs. 25 000 as advertised on the flyer.

Anyway, turns out the only truth to this flyer was the uber ride. I tried to ask event managers why they had lied to us but no one really cared to give me a solid answer. There was no open bar, no food, no meet and greet with wizkid. Is it seriously ok to do that? Would I have bought the ticket if it didn't have such promises? Probably not. I have attended concerts for less and the delivery was 10 times better. 25k should really allow me to be on stage with the artist if you ask me. The planning was completely off at this event! Martha said.

Fena who was also a performing artiste affirmed the complaints saying

I've been racking my brain all weekend wondering how to say it without being disrespectful, @h_arttheband have taken the words right out of my mouth. Thank you. We weren't even fed. The most basic thing in a rider. Lol! me nimesema tu if it's not Blankets or Koroga or Fena Unplugged, or a corporate gig, niko tu sawa for now, I'd rather be a fan in the crowd and stay clueless to the drama behind the scenes”.
