Senator George Khaniri and Vihiga MP Yusuf Chanzu have asked locals to reject leaders who have not delivered on their promises.

They said it would be unfortunate to give those who have failed another chance as it will only be a waste of public resources.

"Right from the national to the county level, some of those we tasked with safeguarding our resources have let us down. Billions of shillings have been squandered. It is time to reject such leaders," Khaniri said.

Chanzu, who is seeking governorship, said he will improve service delivery and boost the region's economy, if elected. [Eric Lungai]
