Governor Joseph Ndathi and Narc Kenya's Martha Karua have rejected an opinion poll which gave Jubilee Party candidate Anne Waiguru a clear lead.

The poll, released by Trends and Insights for Africa (TIFA), indicated Waiguru is ahead with 55 per cent, Karua at 35 percent and Ndathi at six per cent.

The pollster also indicated that seven percent of the voters are undecided while Macharia Karani of the Maendeleo Chap Chap and Muriithi Kagai, an Independent candidate were not factored in the ratings.

''TIFA which claims to have conducted the research should disclose their sponsor since the results were inclined to one contestant,'' Ndathi said.
