KCB and Equity to represent Kenya

Two clubs will represent the country in this year’s African Club Chess Championships to be held in Cairo, Egypt, from July 23 to August 1.

They are league champions KCB and Equity Bank, who were the runners-up last season. KCB will be represented by Ben Magana, Harold Wanyama, Jackson Kamau, Philip Singe, Ben Nguku, Ricky Sang, Wachira Wachania, Joseph Methu, Gloria Jumba, and Rose Wabuti. Equity Bank, on the other hand, will be represented by Arthur Ssegwanyi, Elijah Emojong, Kenneth Omollo, Steve Ouma, Peter Diing, Moses Andiwoh, Victor Hongo, Benard Wanjala, Njagi Kabugu, John Mukabi, Ivy Amoko, Sanjana Deshpande, and Daphne Mwikali.
