Swansea City are said to be interested in pursuing a move for Chelsea captain John Terry.
John Terry had earlier announced he will be leaving Chelsea at the end of this season.
Manager Paul Clement worked with John Terry while he was at Chelsea in numerous coaching roles earlier in his career and will look at the chance of taking the 36-year-old on a free transfer if the Swansea survive relegation.
"I would like to say, having worked with him, what a fantastic player he is and what a career he has had," Clement told reporters ahead of Swansea's home match against Stoke City on Saturday.
