The Belgian is seeking to be paid close to 1 million after the Kenyan Premier League giants unlawfully terminated his contract in September 2016.

In a letter to Football Kenya Federation Secretary General Robert Muthomi, AFC Leopards, through its Secretary General Oscar Igaida, had committed to clear the outstanding dues of Sh2.6 million in six installments.

But since he was paid the first installment of Sh500,000 in January, the former Rayon Sports coach is still waiting for the next portion from Ingwe.

"Since the ruling on November 15, AFC Leopards made a commitment to pay me in installments from January 25 to July 4, 2017. But I only received the first installment of Sh500,000 (paid in portions of Sh200,000 on February 10 and Sh300,000 in March)," Minnaert wrote to FKF.

"AFC Leopards did not pay the first installment on the agreed date. They also failed to pay the second payment of Sh450,000 on March 5 and the third of Sh450,000 on April, 2017.

"They promised to pay through Kenyan Premier League, but KPL say they are not aware of the second and third installment plans.

"By this, I ask FKF to handle the matter firmly and call for AFC to be penalised."

And after receiving the complaint email from Minnaert, Football Kenya Federation chief executive officer Robert Muthomi wrote to AFC Leopards on April 6 and demanded a status report on the commitment to settle the dues.

"Football Kenya Federation is requesting for a status report on the commitment made on January 10, 2017 to pay the former AFC Leopards coach his dues in installments.
