The Mombasa County Government has proposed a Sh10.8 billion budget for the 2017/2018 financial year, up from the Sh9.9 billion in the current financial year.
Recurrent expenditure is expected to increase from Sh6.7 billion to Sh7.5 billion in the coming year. This is contained in the county's fiscal strategy paper published by County Executive Member for Finance Hazel Koitaba.
