Legislators have lost a bid to buy a 40-acre piece of land to put up a training school after Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich struck off Sh1 billion from the Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC) budget.
PSC wanted to buy the piece of land within a 30-kilometre radius from Parliament and had closed tenders for potential investors three months ago.
