Association of African Airlines boss to retire

The long-serving Secretary General and Chief Executive Officer of African Airlines Association (AFRAA)  Elijah Chingosho is set to retire next year. The announcement comes shortly after Dr Chingosho presided over a successful 48th AFRAA Annual General Assembly in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.

An Engineer by profession, Chingosho has been at the helm of AFRAA for seven years after serving for nine years as director for technical training.

 The newly elected AFRAA Executive Committee Chairman Mr Mbuvi Ngunze has said his committee will give  Chingosho all the support he requires to leave AFRAA safe, efficient and sustainable. Chingosho promised to lead AFRAA until his successor is found. Prior to joining AFRAA Chingosho was the engineering general manager of Air Zimbabwe.
