Woman Representative Janet Nangabo has decried the high number of school drop-outs and early marriage among girls in Trans Nzoia.
Mrs Nangabo said many cases have been reported on villages along the Kenya-Uganda border, where schoolgirls are married off to men from the neighbouring country.
