Communities that practise traditional male circumcision have been urged to inculcate positive values in the youth.

National Cohesion and Integration Commission has complained that young people are sometimes taught a culture that glorifies bad behaviour during the rituals.

Commissioner Joseph Nasong'o (pictured) said elders can play an important role in entrenching an acceptable culture that will go a long way in reducing conflicts between communities.
