Western Kenya MPs dismiss Kenneth Marende’s bid for Nairobi governor seat

KITALE: A section of MPs from Western have dismissed former Speaker Kenneth Marende’s bid for the Nairobi gubernatorial seat.

MPs Ababu Namwamba (Budalang’i), David Lazaro (Saboti), Janet Nangabo (Trans Nzoia) and John Waluke (Sirisia) accused Mr Marende of trying to sabotage the ambitions of Water and Irrigation Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa of becoming the Nairobi governor.
