NAKURU: More than 10 people are nursing injuries after they were attacked by a gang that waylaid them as they returned home on the eve of the New Year in Nakuru. One of the victims, Evans Sechero, 28, who sustained deep cuts on his face, head and arms said he was returning home from work at around 3am when he was attacked by suspects riding on a motorcycle. William Otieno, 15, who lives in Kaptembwo estate was headed to his cousin's house when he was attacked at 8pm. Catherine Otieno, a nursing officer at Rift Valley Provincial General Hospital said they received over 15 victims, with deep cuts. However, area deputy police boss Janet Wasike said victims had not reported the incidents.
