Bomet girl who scored 187 marks in primary exams excels in KCSE

BOMET: There was jubilation yesterday at Raia village in Bomet County after it emerged that 16-year-old Jedida Cherono was among those who had performed well in last year's Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).

Cherono, who had managed a paltry 187 out of 500 marks in the 2010 KCPE scored a B (minus) in KCSE.
