A woman has allegedly killed her five-month-old baby at Kapkessum village in Elgeyo/Marakwet County to save her relationship with her lover.
Pamela Cheruiyot, 25, is said to have smashed her daughter's head with a brick, killing her instantly and dumped the body in a thicket two kilometres away from their home after her lover told her they would not get married if she does not get rid of the child.
