KISII, KENYA: South Mugirango Legislator Manson Nyamweya has vowed to rally Kisii county residents behind the referendum quest days after his colleagues from the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) snapped the Okoa Kenya initiative launch in Kisii.
Nyamweya has been vocal in drumming up support for the plebiscite in Kisii region but he would face an acid test in his bid. His colleague in the coalition, Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka has openly opposed the calls for a referendum terming it a waste of time and resources.
