Kamama: Jubilee will rule for over 20 years

A Jubilee MP from Baringo County has dismissed recent claims by CORD that the coalition was short-lived saying that the coalition will last its term.

Tiatiy MP Asman Kamama dismissed the claims as wishful saying the ruling coalition will govern for over 20 years.

“As Jubilee,we are committed to devolution and some political failures who have taken advantage of the transition period to claim that Jubilee will not last, am telling them that the coalition still has 20 years to rule,” said Kamama.

He said the Jubilee government will deliver and urged Kenyans to  be patient with the government  adding that the government is still ‘young’ to underrate its performance.

The parliamentary committee Chair on National Security and administration also dismissed claims that his commission was seeking to give Inspector General of Police David Kimaiyo more powers over National Police Service Commission led by Johnstone Kavuludi.

“Allegations that MPs want to give Kimaiyo more powers over Kavuludi are not true,as we as a committee, are working on the bill professionally,to ensure that we give Kenyans the best bill that will serve all Kenyans,” he said.

He said his committee was working on serving the interest of all Kenyans impartially and not favoring any quarter.
