The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) condemned recent drone strikes on civilian infrastructure in Port Sudan, calling them unacceptable.
The condemnation comes as tensions escalate between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), who appear to be targeting airports in each other's areas of control, threatening efforts to stabilise the region.
