Here are countries with the highest cash rewards to athletes - and where Kenya stands

Some athletes from other countries get paid for winning Olympic medals at the Tokyo Olympics.

Compared to other nations, Kenya reportedly pays $10,000 (Sh1,088,000) for gold medalists, $7,500 (Sh 816,000) for silver, and $5000 (Sh 544,000) for bronze with teams winning gold medals getting Sh500,000.
