ODM delegates nominate Raila

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) national delegates nominated Prime Minister Raila Odinga as the party’s presidential candidate in a conference held at Kasarani grounds in Nairobi.

Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka, who signed a coalition pact with Raila, attended the conference.

Raila arrived at the conference accompanied by Zimbabwe’s PM Morgan Tsvangirai and ministers from Uganda, Tanzania and Southern Sudan.

Tsvangirai and the ministers from the East African nations attend the conference as observers.
