BUNGOMA GRANNY THREATENS TO DIVORCE HER HUSBAND

A 77 year old granny in Munyali village, Kanduyi constituency, Bungoma County has left residents in shock after she threatened to divorce her husband.

It is alleged that her 80 year old husband had secretly sired a son outside wedlock.

Sources privy to this information further reveal that she got the wind of the rumoured allegation from a neighbour. Her worst fears were confirmed when she confronted her husband who admitted without any haste.

"He admitted his fault" noted a neighbour.

He further noted that what prompted the said husband is his quest to have son which had hit rocks with his first wife. They have one daughter in 40 year old marriage.

However when she presented the matter to clansmen, they laughed off her and dared her to proceed with the purported divorce.

"At her age, it will be a big shame to her and the family," one of them was heard saying.

They further praised their colleague for solomonic act that has saved his lineage since he has a son who will be named after him.
