Devolution Cabinet Secretary Ann Waiguru and Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero visited Kibera slums yesterday to assure residents that they were not out to buy political support for the Jubilee administration with the on-going sanitation projects.
Ms Waiguru and Dr Kidero said the national and county governments were keen to empower youth. They said the National Youth Service clean-up of the slums and building of toilets and roads were not tokens for electioneering campaigns.
